The 5 AI Prompts I Use Every Single Morning

# Productivity ๐Ÿ“… Apr 2026 โฑ 5 min read

These aren't generic prompts. They're the ones I use daily โ€” refined over months of trial and error โ€” to handle the most time-consuming parts of freelance life before most people finish their morning coffee.

Prompt 1 โ€” The Daily Planner

Every morning I paste this into ChatGPT with my task list:

"I have the following tasks today: [list]. I have [X] hours of focused work. Prioritize these tasks by impact and urgency, suggest a realistic schedule with breaks, and flag anything I should delegate or drop entirely."

This takes 2 minutes and replaces 20 minutes of mental spinning. The AI sees the full picture and makes decisions I'd otherwise agonize over.

Prompt 2 โ€” The Email Responder

For every email that requires more than a one-line reply:

"Reply to this email professionally and concisely. Tone: friendly but direct. Goal: [accept / decline / ask for clarification / negotiate]. Keep it under 100 words. Email: [paste]"

This works in any language. I use it for Italian, English, and Romanian emails without switching tools.

Prompt 3 โ€” The Content Idea Generator

"Generate 20 content ideas for [platform] about [niche]. Each idea should have a unique angle that hasn't been overdone. Format: numbered list with a one-sentence hook for each."

I run this once a week and pick the best 3โ€“5 ideas. Never have a blank content calendar again.

Prompt 4 โ€” The Fast Proposal

"Write a professional freelance proposal for [client name] who needs [project type]. Budget discussed: [X]. Tone: confident and clear. Include: brief intro, approach, timeline, price, and a single call to action. Keep it under 300 words."

This cut my proposal writing time from 45 minutes to under 10. I close the same percentage of clients โ€” I just get more proposals out.

Prompt 5 โ€” The Research Summarizer

"Summarize this article/document in 5 bullet points. For each point, add one actionable takeaway I can apply immediately. [paste content]"

I use this for newsletters, research papers, long blog posts โ€” anything I need to absorb quickly. It cuts reading time by 70% while keeping the essential insights.

How to use these: Save them in a Notion page or a plain text file. Every morning, open it alongside your AI tool of choice and work through the day using these as your starting templates.
